- The event is to advocate for and promote Youth Safety
- Presenters will articulate community engagement that focuses on Youth programs like mental health, harm reduction and promotion of recovery from addiction, and IT safety practices
- The Fairfax County Community Services Board will provide Narcan Training for in-person attendees

- The Federation collaborated with the County in putting on a Open Forum the Commonwealth's Association Complaint Procedure requirements at the County Government Center. (31 July 2012)

- On 3 November 2022 the Education Committee spoke at a Fairfax County School Board Meeting on ESSER III Spending
- On 8 Sep 2022 the Education Committee sent a a back to School letter to the Fairfax County Public Schools
- On 23 May 2022 the Education Committee sent a letter to Fairfax County Public Schools on how to improve its communication with the broader Fairfax County community
- On 27 Jan 2022 the Federation, based on the Education Committee's concerns, passed a Resolution to the FCPS on the use of technology in Fairfax County Public Schools
